Orders placed on www.OttoBockKids.com may require your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, credit card information, and other private information. Because we recognize that online shopping raises questions about the collection of private information, we take these concerns seriously and handle your information as securely as reasonably possible.

SHARING OF INFORMATION WITH OTHER PARTIES

Otto Bock uses outside business partners, including shipping companies to ship purchased items and credit card processing companies for customers to purchase items. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use private or other personally identifiable information for secondary purpose beyond the activities related to fulfilling the order that you place. We do not share any of your private information, including your email address, with other parties and we do not give your information to anyone unrelated to the transaction. Finally, we do not sell your information to other companies.

On occasion we may contact you via e-mail. If the e-mail is a promotional one, our corporate policy is to provide an opportunity to opt out of receiving messages by providing directions in the message itself. Payment Options

We accept the following options for payment: PayPal®, Visa®, MasterCard®, and American Express®, and Discover®.

Shipping

All Otto Bock HealthCare products are shipped F.O.B. (Free on Board) from Otto Bock, meaning that once a product shipment leaves the Otto Bock facility, the customer bears the risk of loss with the sole claim against the shipping company for any and all losses. The website shipping method standard is Fedex ground shipping, shiping from Minneapolis. If you have a special shipping request, please contact Customer Service at 800-328-4058 during regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm Central Time.

Otto Bock Return Policy

Otto Bock accepts returns that are in re-sellable condition -- unused and undamaged. Hygiene products, including bath and toileting products, are Non-Returnable wherein we cannot accept returns of such products. For more details on warranty returns, please speak with our Customer Service specialists at 800.328.4058 during regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm Central Time. Or visit our Warranty information webpage. We are not fulfilling international orders or accepting any orders outside the US.

If you wish to return a product, please follow these steps. Remember to keep the original packaging materials.

  1. Contact Customer Service at 800.328.4058 within 30 days of receipt of your order. OttoBockKidsUS@ottobock.com
  2. You will receive a Return Authorization Number (RA #). We will not accept a return without this number.
  3. Carefully pack the products in their original materials so the items are secure. Include the RA # as directed by Customer Service. Then, ship the product back.
  4. Otto Bock will notify you when we receive the return and let you know the results.

You will need to provide the following information when requesting an R.A. #:

  • Your name and address
  • Invoice number
  • Reason for the return
  • A part number, description, and quantity for the item(s) being returned

The Credit Process

Please note that issuing an R.A. # does not guarantee a credit and that all returned items will go through an evaluation process to determine if they are in resalable condition. Products that are damaged, soiled, missing pieces (including packaging or literature) will be either issued partial credit or returned to the customer depending on the degree of effort required to return product to resalable condition.

Upon receipt of the returned item we will credit your credit card or PayPal account.

If you paid a shipping fee on your original order for expedited, international or other shipping it is non-refundable.

If the item cannot be made re-sellable you have the option of:

  1. Paying to have the item delivered back to you.
  2. We can dispose of the product for you.

Repairs and Replacement Parts

Otto Bock is here to support you. We offer spare parts and service for the products on this site for all current products and for five years after any product is discontinued. The Limited Warranty below provides an overview, but please contact our Technical Support Specialist at 800.328.4058 with questions or requests related to service, replacements, and warranty parts.

Otto Bock reserves the right to alter product design, specifications, materials and prices without prior notice.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Otto Bock HealthCare LP (Otto Bock) warrants all of its products and services, to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies, subject to normal wear and tear, when the products are used as intended, without unapproved modifications, following all Otto Bock instructions and requirements; and when they are fitted by or under the direct supervision of certified/licensed or qualified practitioners who meet all Otto Bock product-specific training requirements for a given product.

The duration of our Limited Warranties varies by product and service, but all are effective from the date of delivery to the patient. When indicated, the duration of the Limited Warranty for some components may be extended when incorporated into a finished device in which all of the components are manufactured by Otto Bock and installed in conformance with all Otto Bock recommendations. Otto Bock's sole obligation under this Limited Warranty shall be to repair, replace, or refabricate at no charge, or to credit the cost of the system or component thereof to the original purchaser, at Otto Bock's sole discretion.

This limited warranty does not cover labor, freight charges, or damage due to accidents, neglect, misuse or operation beyond capacity, parts damaged by improper installation, substitution of parts not approved by Otto Bock, any alteration or repair by others that, in Otto Bock's judgment, materially or adversely affects the product or part.

THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREINABOVE ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL SUCH OTHER WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED BY OTTO BOCK. IN NO EVENT SHALL OTTO BOCK'S LIABILITY OF ANY KIND INCLUDE ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF OTTO BOCK SHALL HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH POTENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Other terms and conditions of the limited warranty for specific Otto Bock products are found in the individual product's "Instructions for Use". Please refer to the Otto Bock website for additional warranty information and durations or contact your local Otto Bock sales office.
